Breaking these rules might result in blacklisting for future commission opportunities or law actions depending on the severity.By commissioning me, you have read and understood the following rights:-GENERAL
- The client must be over 18 years old to commission
- All personal information will be stored temporarily and will be erased after the commission is done-ARTIST RIGHTS
- The artist has the right to publish commissioned artwork on art sites, social media, portfolios and so on unless otherwise discussed
- The artist has the right to use and claim these pictures (Ex. Advertisements and prints)
- The artist must be credited with a link or artist name if the art is uploaded outside of personal use, if it is possible. This does not regard commercial work
- The artist has the right to refund a work at any point and the refund must be accepted by the client
- The artist has the right to decline a commission without having to explain why
- The artist will not refund work that is already completed-CLIENT RIGHTS
- Client (and/or gift receiver*) has the right to post artwork they have commissioned to their sites and social media
- If a client wants their commission to be private, this will have to be discussed before payment
- If the commission has not been started, the client has the right to cancel and get a refund
- If the client asks refund for uncompleted work, the artist can offer partial refund based on the amount of work already done- A client can not create products of the commission for sale purposes unless it is separately discussed
- The client can resell the artwork through means such as property sale, which will transfer these rights to the new owner-PAYMENT
- Money can only move through PayPal, Stripe or bank transfer with an invoice
- The payment must be discussed at the time of ordering, not after the work is finished
- Most artworks require at least 50% of the base price to be paid before the work starts-ARTWORK
- The client will only receive a digital copy of the artwork, unless traditional art is involved
- Commission deadlines are always one year from ordering unless another deadline has been discussed and accepted by the artist
- The client has the right to ask for a work-in-progress at any point of the transaction
- The client may modify their commission as long as the artist has been credited and it's stated that edits have been made
- The artist will not illustrate commissions that encourage discrimination, such as racism or homophobia
- The artist will not illustrate illegal themes or copyrighted characters for legal reasons-EXTRA FEES
- Anything overly complicated usually requires an extra fee depending on the time that it takes to draw them. It includes some of these items if drawn as detailed:
- Detailed wings, overly complicated guns, scales, vehicles, buildings, some furniture, overly complicated clothing
- If you think your commission might require extra attention, please note me so we can discuss the price!-
* Client: Commissioner, person or company ordering artwork or graphics for personal or commercial use* Gift receiver: Client purchases artwork as a gift, and the gift receiver may use the work with the same rights as the client
